This is a neoprene hockey facial covering manufactured by CCM in 2020–the company’s first-ever face covering built for on-ice play. This mask was purchased and used by the NCAA Division I Merrimack women’s ice hockey team. The purpose of the mask was to prevent the spread of COVID-19 while playing ice hockey. The mask itself would attach onto a player’s cage and would cover the mouth, and nose without directly touching the skin.
